Everything has a beginning. Find out how the Communist party started in Croatia and how they operated during and after the second World War.

2. SOCIALISM IN PRACTICE / EVERYDAY LIFE

Explore the apartment area and learn the effects of a communist regime on everyday life, from design and architecture to music and sex education.

2. SOCIALISM IN PRACTICE / DARK SIDE

There is a darker side to everything. Check us out and learn the methods of UDBA and similar Yugoslav secret agencies that made sure everyone was ‘’happy’’.

Learn about a different history during your stay in Dubrovnik. Enter the 'memories tunnel' and relive the good and bad real-life moments in socialism, donated by people from all over Croatia.
