Join us this Saturday for a slightly different walk through Gruž under the title:
THREE STORIES FROM GRUŽ.
As part of the EU project we are participating in, "HOP - History of People" (CREA-CULT-2022-COOP 101098484), we have created a short tour of Gruž focusing on three stories about people who lived in Gruž or left a mark on the Gruž we know today.
During the walk with curator and historian Ivan Lujo, we will learn about the life and tragic death of Marija Radeljević, who Lujo Šoletić was and why he is important for the development of the city, especially Gruž, and we will recall the dock workers’ strike of 1934, led by Bruno Radeljević and Nikola Mašanović. Participation in the walk is free. See you on Saturday at 10:00 AM in front of the main entrance to the city pool.
