Red History Museum in the project THE SOURCE – Guardians of the Source
The Red History Museum is a partner in the international project THE SOURCE – Guardians of
the Source (Grant Agreement n° 101255510), co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme.
Implementation began in 2026 and runs through 2027.
The project brings together partners from four European countries
- Bulgaria (Сдружение „Развитие на социалния капитал“)
- Italy (Associazione Culturale Eutopia)
- Spain (Funpasos – Fundación por la Sostenibilidad Participativa Innogestiona)
- and Croatia (Red History Museum)
– with the shared aim of exploring and reinterpreting European heritage connected to water
and historical fountains.
THE SOURCE links cultural heritage, sustainability, and community, placing our relationship
with water — past and present — at its centre. Working from historical sources, aqueduct
systems, and fountains, the project reflects on water as a shared resource and connects the
legacy of the past with today’s challenges of sustainability and climate change.
Over the two years of implementation, partners will carry out research, fieldwork, and
exchanges of knowledge. The Red History Museum will present results and individual activities
on these pages as the project progresses.
