This exhibition catalogue presents the history of the TUP factory (Carbon Graphite Products Factory), one of the key industrial enterprises in Dubrovnik and the wider region during the second half of the 20th century. Through archival materials, photographs, and expert texts, it traces the development of the factory from its establishment in 1953, highlighting its expansion, technological progress, and important role in the electrical industry of former Yugoslavia.

The publication also explores the social dimension of industrial life, including workers’ everyday experiences, self-management practices, and the rich cultural and social activities that developed within the factory. Particular attention is given to the production of graphite components essential to a wide range of industrial applications and export markets.

This catalogue offers a valuable contribution to understanding Dubrovnik’s industrial heritage and the broader context of socialist industrialization.

Circle & Square / Space & Time

This exhibition catalogue is dedicated to the work of Boris Ljubičić, one of the most prominent Croatian designers of visual communications, whose extensive oeuvre spans several decades of activity in graphic design, visual identity, and public communication. Through texts and visual material, the publication traces the development of his distinctive approach—from early experimental works and redefinitions of design, to provocative and socially engaged projects, and reflections on design as a tool for shaping collective identity.

Particular emphasis is placed on Ljubičić’s understanding of design as a medium of mass communication and his long-standing commitment to creating a recognizable visual identity for Croatia. His works—including posters, logos, visual systems, and campaigns—demonstrate the power of design in shaping everyday life and public space.

This publication offers insight into a unique artistic practice and contributes to a broader understanding of the role of design within social, cultural, and political contexts.

Cuban Revolutionary Posters 1968–1971

This exhibition catalogue presents a selection of Cuban revolutionary posters created in the late 1960s and early 1970s, a period marked by intense political and social transformations. Produced within the context of the Cold War, the Cuban Revolution, and global anti-colonial movements, these posters functioned as powerful tools of political propaganda, solidarity, and mobilization.

Special emphasis is placed on the role of organizations such as OSPAAAL and COR, which used visually striking and stylistically distinctive posters to communicate ideas of anti-imperialism, international solidarity, and revolutionary identity. Characterized by vivid colors, symbolic imagery, and experimental graphic approaches, these works represent a unique fusion of art and political messaging.

The publication offers insight into the visual culture of revolution and highlights the Cuban poster as a globally recognized artistic and design phenomenon.
