Description of the Small Project
W-BOX – Women Makers Box

W-BOX – Women Makers Box is a cross-border project bringing together micro enterprises
from Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to strengthen competitiveness,
innovation and market visibility in the creative industries. The project develops W-BOX, a
new joint creative product combining design, storytelling, technology and digital content,
while promoting women entrepreneurs and their work across the three countries. Through
the W-BOX Digital Hub and the Women Creative Innovation Expo, the project creates new
opportunities for regional cooperation, knowledge transfer, promotion and access to new
markets. By connecting creative industries, culture and tourism, W-BOX establishes a
sustainable cross-border cooperation model and a new regional creative brand with
potential for further commercialisation and development.

Project aims

1.Develop, test and position W-BOX as a new cross-border creative product combining
design, technology, storytelling and digital content.
2. Strengthen the competitiveness and innovation capacities of micro and small enterprises
in the creative industries.
3. Increase the visibility, recognition and market opportunities of women entrepreneurs
from Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
4. Introduce product and process innovations and support access to new markets for
creative enterprises.
5. Facilitate cross-border knowledge and know-how transfer between the participating
enterprises.
6. Establish a sustainable cross-border creative cooperation model through the W-BOX
Digital Hub and the Women Creative Innovation Expo.
7. Create a long-term regional platform connecting design, technology, culture and
entrepreneurship across the three participating countries.
Project activities

● Analysis of target groups and definition of the W-BOX structure.
● Development of the W-BOX product concept and technical specifications.
● Preparation of the content and structure of the W-BOX booklet.
● Development of the layout, typography and visual style of the booklet.
● Development of the booklet in digital format and its connection with the Digital Hub
through QR/NFC elements.
● Development of a toolkit consisting of practical work cards for women in the creative
industries.
● Design and development of the Croatian mini product for W-BOX.
● Design and development of the Bosnia and Herzegovina mini product for W-BOX.
● Design and development of the W-BOX Digital Hub for project, product and event
content.
● Market testing in Montenegro, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
● Development of the project visual identity and promotional materials.
● Implementation of a digital campaign promoting the project and the W-BOX product.
● Organisation of the Women Creative Innovation Expo public event in Montenegro.

Expected results and achievements

The W-BOX project is expected to create lasting results that strengthen the competitiveness,
innovation and market visibility of creative micro and small enterprises across the three
participating countries. Through the joint development of new products, digital solutions
and cross-border cooperation models, the project will create new opportunities for women
entrepreneurs and establish a foundation for continued regional cooperation and market
development.

● Development of the Women Creative Innovation Expo into a recurring regional event,
supporting long-term networking, promotion and cooperation in the creative industries.
