Circle & Square / Space & Time

This exhibition catalogue is dedicated to the work of Boris Ljubičić, one of the most prominent Croatian designers of visual communications, whose extensive oeuvre spans several decades of activity in graphic design, visual identity, and public communication. Through texts and visual material, the publication traces the development of his distinctive approach—from early experimental works and redefinitions of design, to provocative and socially engaged projects, and reflections on design as a tool for shaping collective identity.

Particular emphasis is placed on Ljubičić’s understanding of design as a medium of mass communication and his long-standing commitment to creating a recognizable visual identity for Croatia. His works—including posters, logos, visual systems, and campaigns—demonstrate the power of design in shaping everyday life and public space.
